Artist Bio: STRUCK
Struck is best known as an innovative producer of electronic and Hip Hop music. He is an independent publisher, songwriter, audio engineer, producer, graphic designer, and recording artist built for the 21st century music industry. Struck is a native of Southern California having been born in L.A. and growing up within both the Los Angles and Orange Counties. His music and artistic spawn is originally inspired by the West Coast music boom era of the 1990's, a time when California Hip Hop and Electronica artists dominated the radio and television airwaves with g-funk, gangsta rap, and house styles of music. His own personal musical style is great to chill, dance, ride and trip out to because it is a burst of organic audio energy that is straight out of California and Struck's loud soul.
Struck's interest in popular music and learning to perform musically began in his childhood years through rap music, church classes and public school courses. Yet, the beginning formations of Struck the artist started in his teenage years when he began learning to freestyle rap and taking the time to create Hip Hop beats. It wouldn't be until college though that Struck would acquire the technical skills necessary to produce music professionally and become a music publisher. In 2004 Struck created his first instrumental album titled “The Production Struck”; the following year “The Next Agenda” was produced by him. In the latter part of 2005 “Struck By Sound Publishing” was created by Struck as an independent music company . In 2008 Struck By Sound Publishing commercially and digitally released the album titles “The Divine Gift” & “Madd Struck Traxx”, and in 2009“Digitronik: Computer Rhythms And Beats” was published.
Struck is planning on creating a large and extravagant personal body of artwork within his life by producing it himself and within collaboration of others. Several projects in the works include a selection of new song recordings & full length albums. Struck is also working on the production of his own music videos as well as a new library of music for a variety of external performing arts. Collaborating with other great artists such as game developers, film producers, musicians and painters here at home in the U.S. and the rest of the world is in the career path of Struck.
