The original concept of "Digitronik" was created by Struck during his own deep thoughts about the age in which many and almost all of us now live in - the digital and electronic era. The title "Digitronik" is a combination of these terms 'digital' and 'electronic' with some Struck style added. Digitronik's meaning represents the evolution and contemporary stage of how music is currently created and distributed but moreso how our own individual lives have become integrated into a digital electronic creation and distribution system via the world wide web. A record of this particular type was specially designed to form an audio representation of the growth of human nature through information networks and hardware devices. As an innovative design Digitronik is an entire record concept, any single is only a process of the Digitronik system. Fusion of both Hip Hop and Electronica styles of music have been incorporated into this 12 track artistic project to provide the foundation for the next generation of Hip Hop and Electronica sounds. What this record proves to demonstrate is the advancement of primarily the Hip Hop production techniques and styles, yet, it also includes the adaptation of Electronica methods of music for added experimentalism within the realm of audio. Born and raised in southern California, influenced by the 1990’s West Coast movement and infused with the motivation to spark a strike like lighting, Struck provides a more complete definition of what an artist is. Covering all angles of the recording process and industry, from producing, composing, writing, performing, engineering and mastering, Struck introduces an advanced level of musicianship and artistry to the Hip Hop world. The deaths and arrests of certain artists, the media’s portrayal of rap and Hip Hop, corporate take over, weakening of styles, and the collective memory loss of Hip Hop’s conception. All of these occurrences were too much for a true fan and participant of Hip Hop culture. So I got involved into doing this style of life to create the change I wanted to see happen, I wanted to show that the degree of creativity and performance can be raised in order to bring back the originality and innovation that made Hip Hop even exist. Alongside all that and like many of us that utilize our minds, I had important things to express to the universe and Hip Hop has allowed me to do so. The Divine Gift is an album inspired by our one and only true Creator. It gives spiritual insight and enlightenment in a world filled with struggle and divisions.
